Crispy Seared Salmon

Prep: 3 minutes Cooking: 8-10 minutes Total: Under 15 minutes 
1 Large Salmon Fillet
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce 
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar 
1 Orange, Juiced 
Salt [to taste preferences]

 It's COOKING time:
Season salmon with salt, pepper, and paprika. In a cast skillet pan add 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Add chopped garlic and let cook for about a minute. Add in salmon skin side down and cook for 4-5 minutes. Using a fish turner, flip salmon over for 2-3 minutes. While salmon is cooking whisk together one juiced orange, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar and a pinch of salt. Drizzle on salmon.

Once there is a good sear on both sides place cast iron skillet In the oven to finish cooking for 4-6 minutes. If you have an especially thin piece you might not need to finish in the oven. Serve on top of rice or a salad.
